A morning stroll on the "Hot Metal Bridge" in Pittsburgh spanning the Monongahela River. It originally connected the 2 parts of the J L Steel Mill on opposite river banks. Now repurposed as a car and pedestrian connection for the Oakland and Birmingham neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. I was enticed by the bridge structure leading into the background with orthogonal shadows crossing the path and pedestrians striding into their mornings. (The 14 x 11 image is mounted in a 19.5 x 16 mat)
